I created Pivot tables in Excel2007 based on data in an access Database query. However I had to add a field (function) to the query. When I try to refresh the pivots in excel I get "Undefined function 'Name of Function I added' in expression" How do i fix this?

hi,

What code or function did you use for your "field (function)"

use

FORMAT(DateField,'mmmm')

instead of your user defined function. which MS query knows absolutely nothing about.
