I'm getting an error in Excel 2000 when I switch between my worksheet and a pivot table I've created. It says that I have performed an illegal operation and then proceeds to close out of Excel. Needless to say I lose all the information I was working on.

Have you tried recreating the pivot table and just deleting the old one? (Consider yourself lucky that you even got me to say "pivot table". I hate them. Haha!)
