I have a pivot showing customer orders. I would like to see the totals by year, but with 2010 being split into quarters.

Can I do this?

Hi,

YES, is you are using REAL DATES.

Right click the date field in the PT and select GROUP and then the YEARS and QUARTERS.

Skip,

for a NUANCE![tongue]

But, that displays years and quarters for all the years. I only want 2010 broken down and the rest 2009, 2008, etc grouped by year only.

What version of Excel?

I currently have 2003, but I can have access to 2007, if need be.

in 2003 yer stuck.

In 2007, you can expand/collapse the quarters you do/don't want to view.

in 2003 you can hide the qtrs that you don't want.
Highlight them, right click, Group and Show Detail, -Hide
