YTD Actual Sum
Total

The pivot table which I have created contains 2 rows, 0 columns, and 1 set of data values. The YTD Actuls are in the data pivot table layout.

Currently, when the pivot table is created, the 2 pivot table designated rows are lined up in the same excel row, and the data (which is the YTD Actual) is also in this row. The problem is that instead of it being called YTD Actual, the name is for some reason changed by excel to be called Total.

Also, the row above it, in the cell directly above the first pivot table designated row, is called "YTD Actual Sum". Is there a way to not have this show up at all?

Ideally, I would like the two rows, and the data value headings (with the right name) to be all lined up in one row.

Any ideas? Thanks!

To have all the data in one row, simply grab the grey button marked 'Data' that is probably sat in cell B3 and just drag it to where it says Total which is probably in C3.
