Pivot Table Form not showing all rows from Excel 97 spreadsheet

Why are Excel 97 pivot table rows not displayed in the Access 2000 pivot table form?

I created a pivot table form using Access 2000. The underlying query shows the correct rows in the Excel 97 spreadsheet. However, the Access 2000 privot table form shows only 17 of the 39 rows.

Also, the on-line help says to "Click the title bar of the PivotTable list." When I click the title bar in the Excel pivot table list, a Property Toolbox is not displayed as an option.
