I did post this question in [forms] quite a while ago and received no replies.. i thought maybe this section may be more suitable .

I have been interested in solving this problem for a long time.
I create a pivot table with a query as the datasource.
Later i add an extra field to the table and query.
When i reload the pivot table and look at the fields available to use in the pivot table.. only the original fields are there.. the extra field i added to the datasource, is missing.
>>>???? How do i get the extra field to appear, without recreating the whole thing..
Probably simple ?? but i cannot work it out
