I am working in a pivot chart I have set the format that I want but when I start to filter the data the chart format changes. Is there a way to lock the format so it is not continually changing?

Unfortunately not in a pivot chart - pain though it is, the only way to 'retain' the formatting is to use a macro which runs whenever the selection / filter changes

Rgds, Geoff

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.
