Bit of a long shot, but i am connecting an Intel D/300JCT-E1 Media Board (part of an Automated Dialler) to a Meridian 81C via E1 Cards.

I have the pinouts of the RJ48 connector on the Intel Cards, but need to know the pinouts on the Nortel E1 card so i can get the correct cable made?

I understand thst the E1 doesnt have an RJ45/48 directly on the card, but should be presented by a large 'Dsub' type cable to a female RJ45/48

My current pinouts are...

1 RCV_Ring
2 RCV_Tip
3 Chassis Ground
4 XMIT_Ring
5 XMIT_Tip
6 Chassis Ground
7 Chassis Ground
8 Chassis Ground

your posted pin out is the same as pinouts here, on the rj-45 1,2 and 4 and 5.. on the db 15 it's 1,3 and 9,11.. because your doing both ends make sure you roll the connection.. your pins 1,2 need to be the far end 4,5.. ie, your transmit is my rec
