The plug is numbered from 1-25 on one side, then starting opposite the 1 pin it is numbered 26-50. The pairs start with the tip (white/blue) on pin 26, and ring (blue/white) on pin 1, just opposite pin 26. They continue all the way up the plug that way with standard 25 pair color codes. If you have a pigtail, the hood generally slides off pretty easy and you can see how they land inside. The plug should have numbers 1, 25, 26 and 50 stamped by those pins so you can see the layout.
