Anyone know what pinout I need to use for a 25-pin connector attached to a tty tape punch. I'm going from server to patch panel to mux to modem, and then at a remote site from modem to mux to tty.

Oh my gosh, Somebody still using a tape punch....
What on earth for?
Most tape punch units were of a standard serial design.

I think you need to use null-modem cable between modem and your device.
Basically, if you would use straight cable to connect terminal to it, you need to use null-modem to connect modem and vice-versa.
Also, have you tried similar setup in the past? You may need to configure your modem for reverse dialup.

Good luck.

Can you still buy paper tape? We quit using them in the early '80's. Jim
