That color thing is just some weird Flash glitch that I will add to the list of other un-solved Flash mysteries. I'm moving on to other stuff...

Oldnewbie: I'm glad you liked the roto-effects. I was the guy who asked about the arc-or-circle-aligned-text problem.
I can provide you with the FLA file...BUT HOW?

Please send it to me (zipped if you can)to francoisgill@hotmail.com

Thanks,
;-)

Hi gotyebw,

Been reading you're threads. I'm having problems getting to your link but don't worry, it's on my side. I'm interested in seeing this effect though and would be a most happy chappy if you could post the fla here or e-mail it to me.

If you want to make a fla file available on the forum, you upload the fla file to a folder on your server then just type in the URL. i.e. my DraggableMask fla file exists at clicking on the link creates a download window, it all happens from there...

thanx

Hi again

Your Fla URL worked OK for me, a browser window popped up for a couple of seconds before the download prompt, but other than that it worked fine.

Can't think what the problem might be on your side. Any ideas Oldnewbie>>?

Thanx

I've responded to both davedesign and oldnewbie by e-mail. This is the URL for my FLA file: However when testing that download, I found that my browser only wants to open it, displaying garbage! Maybe others will have better luck? What could I be doing wrong?

Download works fine Explorer! Problem is with Netscape!
Ah! NETSCAPE! Can't live with it, can't live without it... Although I'm really trying!

The other problem is Flash5. I'm still on 4... can load the file! Guess I'll have to upgrade!

ok guys, is this thing contagious or something?

Maybe not>>>>>I've just come home to Loch Lomond for xmas to see mother-dearest.....and she's got an old COMPAQ 1024 monitor.....hmmm. Now, all of my posted links which have a white background on my computer in Edinburgh have a soppy PINK background, can't change it whatever I do.

One other possibility....I've just put Flash 5 on this computer, and I use Flash 4 (not convinced about 5 yet, except the nice 'hide' action for the mouse) in Edinburgh. Is it another problem with 5 and 4 compatibility?

Wild...
I'm tempted to analyze that glitch, but it's likely a Macromedia, or Netscape bug. Maybe I'll just avoid using all-white? They probably know about this problem already.
But it's good to know that my system is not the source of this problem.

Hope you have a better new year......
