Hi everyone.
I extend my LAN to another building. It has 91 meters of distance respect to building "A". At the beginning i installed two Dlink DWL-2000+ AP, the problem it has was the ping command 'fall down' in any time, making necesary to power off one of the AP and power on again, after this the link becomes alive. I replaced one of the AP by the DWL-900+ AP. Still installed one DWL-2000+AP. Now the problem is that when pinging to the other AP there is 4 pings that doesnt reply, and the AP reply in the 5th ping. In this state the ping is stable arround 90 'pings' and again the four 'pings fall down' repeats. I changed a lot of options inside the web configurator,as channels, fragmentation, TX rates, WEP, etc but this phenomenum continues....Any ideas??

Are they both in AP mode? One needs to be setup as a repeater and the other one as AP.

Sure. They both are in AP mode. I found that this problem is related with firmware version of DWL2000AP+, I found that similar problems are found including in other Dlink wireless AP -such as DWL2100AP --... I found a link that point to download a new firmware for this model...the update is loaded correctly by web configurator but i still changed the actual AP in the final place. I will try it in tomorrow...after that will tell you about results.
