PING SENDTO : Host down with 3C509 an SCO OPENSERVER 5.04

I want to install tcp/IP on a PC with SCO OPENSERVER 5.04
I can ping localhost or IP Adress of the localhost
with netconfig HARDWARE I put 300 10 AUTO and TP/COAX for a second time

hwconfig -h show 0x300 10 and the card 3COM ETHERLINK III

the card is ok on a PC

I don't Know where is the problem

Yvan,

Do an 'ifconfig -a' and see whether you have an interface (other than lo0, the loopback interface) configured.

If you have, try pinging your gateway. If you can ping the gateway and nowhere else you may need to configure a default route.
