Is there no way to get to the Linux OS?
I can't get to the internet, losing all ping packets, bus default route is correct and I can ping gateway, I need taceroute.

Thanks

you can connect to the Linux command line using ssh (putty or teraterm a windows ssh clients if you need one) one you get past the Avaya shell

Ping and traceroute commands should both be available.

Thanks, IPGuru, do you know what Service user rights I need to get into Linux shell?
Or what user should be able to access. root user with the password I set during setup cannot login via ssh and my username cannot.

log in with the Web admin password

at the prompt type admin
enter the administrator user name password again
type root
enter root password

Thanks, Is this officially documented anywhere?

that would be a Linux documentation as it is not Avaya specific.

It would be some sort of Centos doc

They way to the root shell is well documented. I guess it is in the Server Edition Admin guide.

Ping and traceroute are available there.

Thanks, I found it in the Deploying IP Office server edition guide.

I was looking for an Administering IP Office server edition guide and could not find it.
