Pie charts and magically disappearing dynamic ranges

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone has any ideas.

I've set up a spreadsheet with a load of monthly data, with the plan being that say, for example, in the month of January, a pie chart will show the breakdown of data for, you've guessed it - January.

The ranging works fine, and I keep trying to set up a pie chart in Excel. Once all the conditions have been set, and the chart is set for columns, not rows, the pie chart then displays.

Problem is, this then removes my ranging references and just puts cell references in, instead. Which kind of ruins my whole idea of dynamic ranges.

Any suggestions? Please.....for the sake of my computer screen (the window is starting to look tempting).....and my sanity!!

Cheers,

BFG

Don't worry - have sorted it. For some reason excel is happy when it's one dynamically ranged column, rather than a set of ranged cells.

Bizarre.
