A friend saved some pix on cd rom for me and my computer will not let me access them. Problem with shortcut: The drive or network connection that the shortcut'Adobe PhotDeluxe Home Edition 3.0.Ink' is unavailable. Make sur that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available and try again. PLEASE help me with a fix so that I can get my pix off of there.

pictures saved off of photodeluxe

if the images were saved from the photodeluxe program, you need that program to open them, or photoshop itself.. they were saved in the photoshop format and most image programs will not recognize that format, so no way to open till you get a psd image program to open them.
I use Riptide by vortron to change the image formats to jpg or gif. in this case you will have to pull the image off the disc and have the image conversion program save it in a common format.
did you try to open the image files from the start/run/cd-rom letter than ok.. then click on the image file and see if it will open it that way
