Pictures Not Appearing IN IE 1

Hello Everyone

I've recently installed WinXp Professional on my pc, and I've been experiencing some Interet Explorer problems. I'm running IE 6.02 on default "medium" security settings and it seems that on a lot of pages, items are not loading. For example, I'll get a page where those red "x"'s will appear rather than the picture. Any suggestions? Again, I'm using all defualt settings.

ok, I browsed that thread and found a solution --

I simply went into folder options/file associations and changed .gif and .jpeg to associate with IE, and now everything works fine. Rock and roll! Thanks a million!
