Even if you can, and I don't know, I would advise against it. It makes every e-mail you send so big, that your friends will soon get bored of the time it takes to receive mail from you, just to see your picture over and over again.
Yes, it is possible to have a picture for a signature in OE 6. Go to Tools/Options/Signature you will see at the bottom of the pop up window a radio button to check if you wish to use a file. If you plan on scanning your signature to use on each e-mail I would suggest using the JPG format to keep the file size down, also make sure you crop the picture to just the signature to keep the file size down as well.
There is a size limit with signatures in Outlook Express. It's only 4.0kb . Not very big is it ? With the right tools you can create a nice signature though that wont take any noticable extra time to send or for your contacts to receive
Upload your image to a place on the internet, and then put a img link to it on your signature, that way you wont be limited to the 4.kb size of the sigs in OE Jay~
