hi
i have a little problem
on my site that im making, i have quite a few thumbnails, the problem is
that some of them show and some have a little crosses in the top left hand
corner, the thing is that when u click on them it comes up with the big
picture fine.
all the thumbnail pics are in the same dir as the big pics.
please help me im new
thanks in advance

Hi,
little red cross in the top left corner says that the image cannot be found.
1) Check if you put ALL your images in the remote directoty - sometiemes people forget to put some images and, of course, they cannot be shown.
2) Check if you give exact path to your images.
3) Copmare image path between images that shown fine and those that are not shown at all. If they are different - fix it.

Good luck!

something in addition to what sveta said:
check your file names to make sure they following the naming conventions (ex. no spaces, has extension at end, etc.)

good luck - nichole

I too have the very same problem with no pictures when using
UltraDev4.
Why is it, when editing in notepad, if i remove the leading forward slash "/" everything works fine..????
eg

BUG!!!! or am i being silly

amd800,
it adds the slash if you insert the graphic based on where it is in relation to site root, rather than the document you're placing it in. This option appears in the dialog box that comes up when you insert image, right below the place where the name of the graphic appears. If you select "document" rather than "site root," it won't add the slash.

hope that's constructive enough for you - nichole
