Two BCM450 R6: Systems very close together - outgrew the first system so added second.

System A networked with System B via h.323 and MCDN.

Call comes in to hunt group on system A and broadcasts to group of phones.

Manager on system B want the ability to answer the call if no one in the Hunt Group on System A picks up the call. Manager on System B is in the same room as employees on System A so she can hear the other phones ringing.

Any ideas on the best way to accomplish this?

Ideas I have had so far:

1. Add a second phone in her office. - She no likey.
2. Give her a new extension on System A and route her calls to her new extension. - She no likey.
3. Use Find me Follow me on a ringing station on System A to make her phone ring too - would need to play around with this,

Thanks for any help.

not sure if you can forward a hunt group to an external number. But might be able to, set a timer on the hunt group, then forward to the destination code and number of a target line on the managers phone.

if that doesnt work, maybe fna one phone in the hunt group to a target line that rings on a managers phone.

Hunt group calls don't forward. If you have a spare analog line port on B and a spare analog set on A, connect them together, put the analog set in the hunt group, then assign the line to the managers phone.
