Picking up Park over VoIP trunk

I installed a BCM50 at a satellite office (loc 2) that is connected by VoIP trunks to a BCM 400 at the home office (loc 1). System has centralized voicemail and DN dialing for both loc.s

is there a way to set it up so that people at loc 2 can get calls parked by receptionist at loc 1? park prefix is 3. Would this be possible through routing?

I did this once between BCMs a while ago just to see if it worked. I think these were the steps:

Build a route pointed to the IP trunks on the BCM 50. Set that route type as public (I think that if it is formatted as private it didn't work).

Configure a destination code that matches your park prefix (30) and assign it to the route created above.

Under dialing plan, public network, add prefix 30 with a length of 3.

Configure digits 30 to go over the IP trunks to the remote BCM 400.

That should do it for you. Only reason I specified 30 instead of 3 is in case you have a local NXX that begins with 3 - you wouldn't be able to call a phone number like 3121234 as the system would send the call after the third digit. If you have no local NXX's in the 3 prefix it's no big deal. Otherwise you may have to break things out a bit.

Thanks! I've moved on to other installs so it's kinda theoretical but I'll go back and give it a shot.
absorb digits, none?
