Greetings Guys,

I have a customer who is asking me for the ability to ring a telephone on an inbound call and only be able to answer by dialing a code. Is that possible in some form?

Danke,
Quaz

There is a default pick up short code you can use *32*N# where N represents the extension number you want to pick the call from. You can change the code to to make it only work with the desired extension by replacing the N with the ext #.

If it is ringing your phone you can pick it up. I don't think there is a way to stop it.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*

If the phone is not ringing can I use the code *32*N# to pick up say 200 ( default Ringgroup )?

set the incoming call route to 200 Main, add the extensions that should ring. Add the extensions that should NOT ring and uncheck those. Make a short code, #0 / Call Pickup Group / 200 / 0

Phones are ringing with incoming call, but my phone doesn't ring, dial #0 and you've grabbed the call.
