Pick-up dial clear/do not clear

Hi for all panasonic people there.. Hope you are all very well..!
In kx-ns500-system-system option-option2- there is this selection hot line (pick up dial) clear - do not clear. So anyone know what they mean by this clear and do not clear selection..? I did not find any interesting info in manual.

There is a feature - "Extension settings clear" (*790 by default).

This parameter defines will your pick-up settings be cleared by that feature or not.

Normally (in previous SW versions)
-Pick-up dialing is only cleared by *7400

In new option Pick-up dialing could be clered with all other parameters
