Hi,

I need help for setting up my boss phone. His DID can be picking up from 2 different phones. Below is the setup:
Boss (M3904)
Key 0: 1111
Key 1: 2222
Assistant1 (M3904)
Key 0: 3333
Key 1: 4444
Key 2: ADL 16
Key 3: 1111 (Boss)
Key 3: 2222 (Boss)
Assistant2 (I2004)
Key 0: 5555
Key 1: 6666
Key 2: 1111 (Boss)
Key 3: 3333
Key 4: 4444
Key 5: 2222 (Boss)

When someone call 1111 for boss, Asst1 can pickup the call and put the call on hold and the Boss can answer the line from his phone by pushing Key 0.

But when Asst2 pickup the call for 1111 and she put the call on hold, the boss can not answer the line the same way as when he answer the call by pushing key 0 in his phone.

Is this possible for the boss to answer “on hold” call from Asst(s) phone by pushing his key 0? I believe his key 0 is blinking when the call is on hold.

Thank you

if you have an scr key, any other phone with a scr or scn can take a call off of hold.. if a line is blinking on your phone, press the key..

Thank you Johnpoole for the answer. But My co-worker tested today and the boss could not pick up the "on hold" call from Asst2 that has i2004 phone on it.
The boss can pickup the call from the Assistant1 that has M3904. I am not sure if the phone set make a different.

Do you need the set print out?

I have look up both set print out, there are few differences:

NCOS (Asst2 has lower NCOS)
LHK
TEN
and type of phones (i2004 has ZONE)

the problem is tennant.. users have to share tennant to be able to take that call off of hold..

don't confuse yourself. pickup is a feature.. if your reading up on the switch, that one is for a ringing line.. it does not work inter-tennant either.. if you can make those the same tennant, hold will work right..

the reason i did not ask for a print out is i do not know of a way to give a person a flashing light and block using the line EXCEPT a bfs key and tennant.. i have never shared dn's tennant to tennant..

you think it's exclusive hold ace, he seems to think they are not in the same tennant.. it could be but i haven't seen that since qpc-60's

Why can't you just park the call and the boss can pick it up from anywhere you want him to be able to.

If they where different Tenants, how would it ring on her phone?

It would help if sienz would post the whole TNB and not just the pieces he thinks we need.

In the class of service on the phones, see if you have XHA. If you do change it to XHD.

Post the TNB's of the 3 phones, stop making us guess.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

I think this is an old thread. I started in 2 Aug 07 20:52.

The XHD is the one that I am looking for
