Any Ideas? I'm not able to select a call that was received on a 3904 and placed on hold from the 3904. I am trying to select the held call from another set that has that same number on it.(Lets say they both have 8000 as a dn on both sets)The call is on hold on the 3904 and the light is flashing (held)on the 3904. the 2616's 8000 dn key shows solid and when you press the button all you here is battery, not the caller. Even though I don't think it has anything to do with it I've enabled the pu cls's in the cls and they are in the same rnpg. I've also downloaded the firmware on the 3904. What could I be missing?

Are we sure that the 3904 is using the hold key and not the Transfer key. Because if it is put on hold then it should also flash on the 2616.

I checked and they are for sure pressing the hold key on the 3904 and the light on the 2616 stays solidly lit.???

Check set's CLS to see if XHA is on. (Exclusive Hold Allowed) make multiple appearance dns exclusive to that set, even when put on hold. While hold (winking) is indicated at the telephone holding the call, the dn lamp is steadily lit on all other appearances of the held line. The privacy release key must be used for access by others. XHD turns it off.

Good call roupe I think you might have it.

That was it, thank you very much. I never would have got that. I did know what exclusive hold was about.
