In Excel spreedsheet,
I have 5 cells(a1-a5) containing various numbers, In the A6 cell, I want to pick the highest number from cells 1-5. In the A7 cell, I want to pick lowest number between cells 1-5.
Any suggestions on this formula would be appreciated.

You may just want to highlight the cells in question and then right click on the 'Status' bar (right below the 'Sheet1, Sheet2, Sheet3). When you look on the right half, you'll see the results of your selection. You may choose to see any of the following choices: 'Average', 'Count', Count Nums', 'Max', 'Min', or 'Sum'.

This is much easier than using any 'Paste' functions or remembering any 'expressions'.
