php5 install on IIS and 2003 server 1

I have been trying to install php5.3 on 2003 server and IIS but none of the installation instructions I can find work for me. The initial problem I find is that every instruction says to use php5isapi.dll but I can not find that dll in any of the 5.3 or 5.2 packages at php.net. I have seen some references to using fastcgi instead of php5isapi but nothing with any details about how to do it, where to find it, or anything else. What am i missing here? Is there somewhere else other than php.net to find the php5isapi? Do i need to go somewhere else and find fastcgi instead?

If anybody could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Download v5.0 and use the isapi dll with your 5.3 install.

Using your info as a starting point I made it to

which i was finally able to muddle through enough to get pgpinfo() to run.

If you wish to use isapi, snag the php5isapi.dll from php 5.0 and use that. There may be minor consequesnces; just a presumption.

i did give that a try at one point using the php5isapi from an older set of files, but got off on the fast-cgi before i could get it working. So, I dont know if it would have worked or not.
