Hi :)
Can i use PHP without Apache server or MySql?? I am trying to do a Php site but dont want to use the apache server, but instead the IIS...also the MySql-can I use personal Oracle or Personal Sql instead of MySql???
Another thing-does Php require a long time to set up...I had Win98 but am working with win2000 now! Is Php hard to work with as i am just a novice in the php world!

PHP can be compiled to support Postgres or Oracle or any number of other databases, but the most common one is MySQL, mainly because its good points are: Its free, its fast, its free, its flexible, its free etc etc you get my point :)
- you can downloada windows installer here.

My personal preference for a webserver is Apache, but should you need any help with IIS there is a very good forum here at Tek-tips :
