Hi All,

Please excuse my ignorance. I am NOT a php admin / guru / user. I am a Solaris SA who has just been tasked with helping our developers with a PHP / MYSQL install on a RHEL4 server.
The two products are already installed, however, when I check the phpinfo file it shows as --without mysql.

So, my question is; do I need to re-install php with mysql support or can I re-make/re-configure with the supported options?

Apologies if this question is a bit *doh*, but I refer you to the first sentence.

Thanks
Alan

provided you have the mysql library on your computer you can just reconfigure/remake.

config is --with-mysql[=DIR]
