PHP works very well with Windows. No problems why you shouldn't. There are only a lot of benefits to do it under windows.

I $echo the above. Using PHP 4x on Windows 2000 pro
runs fine.

Actually Zend, the makers of PHP worked very closely with MS on the 4x iteration to make it much faster and more stable than previous iterations.

Using windows is great, mssql is far supreme to mysql and offers many benefits

I agree with BB101, for example: mysql doesn't support stored procedures at this moment one of the great things in the world of databases! And mssql does.
