Hiya,
I like this kind of layout.
Although I am not sure what you cant get centered and you have not given a simple bit of code as an example, it seems that the lower half is a bit oddly lined up compared to the upper half.
I would suggest looking at your table and columns.
Something tells me that you have uneven td's between the upper and lower half of your page.
