Hi there,

few comments:

Lusciouslarry:
1. bit slow to load
2. 4 tables on the right have a right-margin, it looks bad.
3. its all too much the one colour. consider giving the main content area a different colour, maybe white.
4. Underline links, or highlight them in someway, particularly in the content section
5. the Virus table is a different colour than the rest, it shouldnt be.
6. most of the tables on the L and R are a little bigger than they need to be, also a little plain.

zzr1200:
Don't have much comments for this, looks better than larry. Very busy site though.

Hope that helps, no time today so I cant take a closer look.

I also have Php Nuke, haven't tried it though. U need SQL for that? I can't remember.

Hi mate,

Luciouslarry

1) Scrollbar looks non-existant, if you want people to scroll down and see the other content then make it look like there is a scrollbar.

2) Navigation buttons are hard to read, you have huge buttons and only use a tiny amount of space for the actual writing.

3) News stories look like static text only, you need to make the links stand out. Looking at them it is hard to scan for a specific headline.

4) Top flash banner is very distracting when trying to read the page. Use of flash like that should be quiet and compliment the design, not take the focus from the page.

5) The colour option on the flash shows different than what I select. You should make the options the same colour as the actual colour that appears.

6) Biggest concern that I have is that even after posting all of this, I still do not know what the site is actually about. It just seems to have loads of live feeds coming from external sites but no central point to having the actual site.

Hope this helps Wullie

I looked at the lusciouslarry site and it seemed like this compilation of many things with no real content of its own.

Why is it trying to set cookies????? That gave me a real creepy feeling, like "What the heck is going on here?" Is this a personal homepage or what?? It does have an incredible grab-bag of things, but it seems like a garage sale where you wouldn't go twice. How about a photo of Larry and an explanation as to why he is luscious and what is his intent with this page? Yes, the name is the best part of this site!!! Expand on that!

It doesn't work at all in Mozilla, or at least it wouldn't after I refused the cookie.

Maybe I should put some background here. The name of the site was mostly a joke. As a 6'5, 300 lb computer nerd named Larry, my friends poked fun about me having bad sites running off of my work servers and joked about the name being lusciouslarry. So I decided to buy a domain
name of lusciouslarry and practice my web building skills.
I then discovered php. I had no intention of a real site so thats the reason for lack of "real" content. I am practicing the layout, coloring, and other features of php.
Hopefully this will clarify things for you folks that are checking them out. Now, the ZZr site is a real site that I created with phpnuke. The content is now determined by the owner and my friend, Scott.
Also, thanks for the feedback on the sites guys as a newbie
I need all the help and info I can get!
Stars to you that provided feedback!
Larry
