We recently obtained a server with Plesk 7.5 Reloaded on it. We've made a few customizations, but nothing much. Certainly nothing to qmail. However, we've discovered that any email and mailed out of PHP (using the PHP function mail()) are getting completely blocked. They don't show up anywhere. They never get to their inboxes. I've done some searching on this subject but have not found anything on it. This is extremely troublesome for us and we need to get this remedied right away. Any suggestions as to what we can do??

NOTE: I have tested sending to outside yahoo and hotmail addresses and the forms are working with no problems.

NOTE: From looking at the mail logs, I can also verify that the emails are NOT being processed at all. Very strange.

Do you have any anti-spam or anti-virus features enabled?

My guess is that you are not supplying enough sender envelope detail on your php generated messages. As a consequence your messages may be treated as virus/spam and get sent to /dev/null or whatever your setup expects.

Further, you might want to verify that your PHP sending machine has the capability to reach your mail server. Often ISPs block port 25 for certain kinds of clients by default. Try the "telnet mail.server.com 25" trick to make sure.

I figured out the problem here...

DomainA.com (located on Server A) was sending to DomainB.com. DomainB.com was transferred over to a new server (Server B). However, we neglected to disable DomainB.com on the old server (Server B), so the mail was being sent, but not to the correct mail server.

Thanks for your help.
