Hi,

I’m looking for a contact form with captcha and the possibility for file upload(s).
I’ve searched Google over and over and after two full days of trial and error I’m about to give up.

Does anyone know of a good sample I can use and adapt?

Regards, Gerrit

I don’t use wordpress (and I don’t need it as far as I can see). Same with Drupal. So how should I use this in my own website?

Regards, Gerrit

WordPress and Drupal are open source (GPL). That means you can freely use and adapt.

File uploads introduce a significant security risk. For example, a bad person might upload a PHP script that can explore your web server, reading/writing any file on it. Even an experienced web developer cannot compete with the community of developers that support WordPress and other CMS's...and have already figured out the most secure methods for web forms.

There are plenty of options on the googles so it seems incredible that you'd have trouble finding something that suits you...

If you explain what you've tried and what erred, we can offer suggestions.

Unfortunately Goole did not offer any working sample code. I’ve tried this route for more than a week.

In the end - after a lot of trial and error attempts - I developed my forms with Simfatic Forms. I had to use PHP8 to get the captcha code running properly.

Problem solved!

Regards, Gerrit
