php extremely slow

I have a web server which runs php and coldfusion.

It has been this way for some time. All of the sudden, PHP runs very slow, any page with php code, while any coldfusion or html run really fast, and the coldfusion app is doing more complex work.

Any help, is this a known issue with a known fix? Even doing very simple php coding, like phpinfo() is taking too much time.

cleanup all the log files as a starter.
if this doesn't change anything, re-install your php parser.

I have no idea what the answer is, PHP's never been anything but fast for me.

Want to give us your setup though, may help things...
