Php Date & Ms Access

Hi all,

Can anyone suggest me how can i insert a "Date" value to Ms Access Database through a php program. I have to retrive the date field and sort it.

Hmm, is it the NOW() you wish to insert?
If so, I would use the NOW() time from the DB, not from PHP.

ps. why not use mysql?

i just want to insert the date like 12-Aug-2005 into the access table. ie when a new user registered with the site i have to save his registration date. What the things i have done for this . can u explain more.

My sql is not possible. because our hosting site doesnot support mysql.

Try adding the NOW() in the insert query, as value for the field "joined_date" or whatever you call your field.
