I have created a php CLI script that I want to run on a Win32 box every 10 minutes. I would like to run this script as a service so it can run when no one is loged in. Can this be done ind if so how.

Thanks
Timgerr.

I am not sure, I will have to look into that.

with xp you can set a recurring task in task scheduler (control panel).

set the task (ie the run command) as a daily task and then in the last screen of the wizard click on the advanced options. in the next screen (effectively the task properties) you can set a task to recur every 10 minutes.

this will work even if the computer is turned off if the motherboard supports scheduled wake.

you provide user credentials to the task so being logged off is not an issue.
