Hello all. I was wondering. I want to use a flash file & I can make the file composite something I want for printing - in fact I can make it print just fine as well.. However, what I want it to do is to not show the print dialog box, but instead, just go to the default printer automatically. I can't do this in flash.. Would PHP allow me to do this at all? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately no. Since PHP runs on the Server there is no way for it alter the normal functioning of the clients browser. You would have too look into Javascript or maybe Vbscript.

Regardless of that,
Tampering with functionality that a user expects to be there is not a good idea, how can you be certain the user wants to print out your Flash file to the default printer, maybe they want to select a different one from the dialog box and you are not allowing that.
