here's a goofy little site i made for my friend so he can host his flash animations:

i am running this site on my computer running apache (more details if needed)

anyways, everything was running fine on the forums (click the middle button). when my ISP gave me a new ISP, i configured the DNS with

http://www.godaddy.com

and have

http://www.stone-co.org

point to my new IP. everything worked but one thing: the login feature of the phpBB. heres a test account:

username: test1
password: tektips

test it out. it wants to go to my old IP and not to my new one to login. im baffled.

phpbb requires you to set your host in it's configuration (it uses it to form redirect URLs.) You'll have to manually change the database to fix it.

danomac, i think thats what end up happening. i found out that it was something to do with cookies from the phpBB, so i installed some cookie mod that phpBB edorsed and it worked.

i did delete the test1 for future info.
