What exactly is an XML server in your case?

PHP can certainly deal with XML, via use of an XML object.

hi, I have a hotel inforamtion in MYsql database. I need to create an XML Web service to provide hotel information based on a user passing input parameters from a webpage.

So the idea is to create xml service for hotel information which eventually will be combined with another xml web service for flight information.

Once I got both returns, I can present the return data in an webpage showing Total package price (flight information + hotel information)

Is that doable
