anyone know if you can load php variables into a swf from another url

I'd like to mail an swf to customers and display content in the swf from a database install on a server?

is this possible?

it would get around a few html email problems I'm having.

You can only load variables into a swf from a script in the same sub domain - it's a security measure.

okay,

so if the swf is load into a mail client (an html email) from

http://www.mydomain.com/my.swf

and I load the variable from

http://www.mydomain.com/loadthisvariable.php

this would work from within the mail client as long as the user was conected to the internet?

right?
