PHP and Editor???

Hi all:
I wanted to know if anyone has done this and to give me hints or send me a website that shows this :
I have a couple of contracts on my web server. I would like to make a link and by clicking on that link open it up in an WYSIWYG editor and make the changes and save the file. Also want to create a new contract on the fly within the editor in the admin section of the website...
Has anyone done this before?

Sounds like you might get some support from a CMS (Content Management System) of which there a few PHP based open source ones. Try PHPNuke for a start

wordpress has some crude server file editing capabilities built in. it would be (very) easy to extend a plugin to make this more fulsome.
