PHP 4 Installation ????????

Hi

Im hoping someone can help me quickly. I am trying to install PHP 4 from scratch on my Win 98 (1st edition) running PWS. I think I have downloaded the right files but cannot get the bloody thing to work.

What do I need to download? How do I install it to wrok ith PWS? how do I tell it to work with .php files?

Also I dont have Apache...I have heard this come up alot i nthese places.

Well there appears to be no problems as such. I just dont really know what Im doing.

What files do I need and what do I do to install them correctly

Navigate to wherever you installed PHP, look for a file called install.txt.


There are detailed notes on the install procedure.

Also, I assume you installed using the win32 binaries?
