Just purchased a new HP 7350 printer; it worked fine until I shut down the PC. Next day when I started, got the error "Your computer has lost its connection to the printer". Also, the printer power light stays on and the power on/off switch has no effect. Nothing I do gets it back (restart / unplugging the USB, etc...) - I've spent an hour on the phone with HP trying some things. We both agree it's not their problem. This is the 2nd printer - I returned the 1st one because of this problem thinking it was either the printer or software; obviously not either, must be in my system.(USB only on Gateway P4, 1.5Gz)
I replaced an HP 712C and have always used HP inkjets with no problems. Any other experiences like this?
