We have a photosmart 1115 connected to a PC with win2000 shared on our network. The other win2000 machines cannot print multiple copies to this printer, only one print will come out. The win98 machines on the network will, however, be able to print multiple copies. Additionally, the machine that the printer is installed on can print multiple copies local. Any ideas?

Have you tried downloading the latest driver from HP?

Yes, the drivers are the latest downloaded from HP.

Call hp. You need to find out what built in os drivers will run this device.

Tell them its a presales question, that you are going to buy this model printer, and that you need to are going to put together a terminal server, and you want to use a built in os driver. This is what I've told them to find out what alternate drivers I can use. You could also try a google search. Recreate the printer using this driver, and try again.

Really sounds like a driver issue to me.

I called HP, and they said printer is out of warranty and would not advise without purchasing service plan.

Try a Laserjet II.
