Is it possible to send a logo with a clipping path to Paint Shop Pro 7.0 and have it appear with a transparent backgrd? When I send a tif with the transparency option the Paint Shop program fills the background with color. How about a Gif 89a Export? Help...my deadline was yesterday if ya know what I mean. I love stress!

Im not to good at Paint Shop Pro, although doesnt photoshop save as paintshop pro type file? Or doesnt Paint shop pro accept PSD's? If so , just use that type of file, then take the background out in paint shop. Im curious though, as to why do you need paint shop pro??

I'm designing a logo for a friend who lives across town. He has Paint Shop Pro. I've been sending a transparent logo via email to show him what I have in mind. But it appears with a colored background which changes the whole look. :(

save it and then put it on a website or something im not sure you have any other option.

Save it as an unflattened PSD, I think PSP Pro will open and leave the transparencies if you do it that way. Of course, I have been wrong before.... When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

Paintshop Pro will quite happily open even layered PSD files. The only problem comes is you have added layer effects, or text in Photoshop v6.

So, flatten the text out, or the logo as a whole, and you will be fine.
