Photoshop quits while trying to open.

Hello,

I have an issue where whenever I open Photoshop under a certain user in windows 2K, Photoshop begins to open, but then quits during the opening.

I've uninstalled/installed the program and rebooted the computer.

I am able to successfully get into Photoshop when I log in as a different user (either the Administrator or another administrator). All three logins have Administrative access.

Any additional ideas as to why this is happening?

log in as that user and start up photoshop hold down Shift+Alt+Ctrl (Shift+Option+Command on the Mac) this will reset the preferences for photoshop back to factory settings.

If this doesn't sort out the problem I would have a look at the adobe site for any similar items in their faq.

Thanks Manic,

But I wound up recreating the user account. This of course fixed the issue.

If I run into that again though, I will try that reset!
