photoshop picture has turned black and white 1

I am using Photoshop Cs5. I am creating a poster and my poster has turned black and white. When i look in the channels my red, greem and blue channels have gone!. How can I get it back? Thank you in advance.

What channels remain?

Undo via the history panel or restore from backup.

Is the mode set to greyscale?

I think I must have done this! I have very clumsy hands, and do lots of projects at once, and use lots of different software at once. How do I check if it is on greyscale?

Good lesson here of always making backups - you can never have too many of them.

Mode is in Menu:-

Images->Mode

and the selection is ticked.
