Hello... I am working with our Flash person on getting a proper vector image out of photoshop, now it says that EPS should work, but for whatever reason it claims it only wants Adobe Illustrator EPS, so I give it that, but it shows white edges. I have tried WMF, EMF, and even FlashPix (from Photoshop). Problem is the graphics firm that did the original images sent us a Photoshop PSD document and I need to find a format I can save in that is Vector for Flash (this will be used as a movie/demo and as a screen saver, so it won't always be seen at the same size).

Thanks for your input!
Maya
Sounds like you are trying to preserve an alpha channel of the logo supplied to you...if you want the white edges to dissappear then I suggest turning the backgrd. logo image into a layer erase the white edges and save as a PNG file in the save for web command under the file dropdown menu. This saves you the problem of the white edges.
Otherwise -- the logo supplied to you should be used as a template and you have the unique privilege of remaking it for the client - good luck!
For resizing purposes remaking it into a vector image will be better in the long run.

Thanks for the info, but I am really trying to find out what format I can save an existing PSD file to make it Vector so that Flash will accept it.
