Hey I'm having problems with my Photoshop CS in Windows XP. Now when I open it, it gives me one of those "Adobe Photoshop CS has encountered a problem and needs to be shut down... Please tell microsoft about this problem. Send Error Report / Don't Send" alerts. I haven't installed any new programs or anything I can think of that might cause this. ImageReady, however, does work, as do other Adobe programs I have. This happened before, a month or two ago, but after restarting a few times it started working again. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. I would greatly appreciate any advice!

Here are the details of the error given:

AppName: photoshop.exe AppVer: 8.0.0.0 ModName: hpzpm309.dll
ModVer: 2.245.1.0 Offset: 00036293

There's also a text file that was generated by this error, but it's really long so I'd probably have to email it. Anyway let me know if any more info is needed.

Thank you for your time.

Did you have an XP update recently? Sometimes that can cause a problem. There is a function that allows XP to "rollback" before an update. Go to the MS site and look that up and try it. Might work.
